Question / Help Streaming with GTX 1080 & I5 4690k

I recently bought a GTX 1080 video card and wanted to see how well it would perform streaming. I know that streams typically look better with x264 rather than NVEC, but it didnt seem to look good with x264, so I went back to using my video card. Does anybody have good settings that I could try with the 1080 and I5 4690k? Am I going to need to overclock my CPU?

All the help would be appreciated.
