Streaming with a 2012 MacBook Pro

Hi, I was just wondering whether I could use the old MacBook Pro that I have lying around as I can barely afford to buy a new computer. It’s 2.6ghz quad core i7 with 8gb ram. Not sure if it has a dedicated graphic card (intel HD graphics 4000 1536 MB).

It doesn't take long to install / setup OBS. Give it a try and see if it works for your need.

Thanks for the reply. I have tried it with the built- in camera and it worked just fine. However, I wanted to use my mirrorless Sony 4K camera with a capture card, mic etc. So I just wanted to make sure that it was going to be worth it.
