Hello everybody,
I'm doing some research to buy a card intended for live streaming (no high resolution nor low latency requirements) compatible with OBS Studio running on Windows 7+.
I found this thread (https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/list-with-supported-capture-cards.5655/) and it points to a spreadsheet containing a list of cards (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1AQe_Vfo70k7Yy9BY4imK1ujBh1aGKASSNturoMjeER4/edit#gid=0).
I'm a little troubled about the "Avermedia Game Capture HD" and other similar devices. As far as I understood, this device is intended only for recording directly on an attached hard drive.
Is this device suitable for live streaming over OBS Studio? In other words, would this device work as a proper video capture source on OBS, allowing me to connect my camera on it and run a live stream?
Regards.
