Ive been trying to stream to youtube both with nginx, ffmpeg and obs and then to simplify just with obs as well to figure out where my issues were. Anyways The problem is when i stream to youtube it looks terrible. It looks like the bitrate is bad. but when I view the same thing over my private rtmp server it looks fine. I'm wondering if im doing something wrong. With obs or not. another thing i noticed was youtube was incorectly detecting my video resolution and frame rate. its 720p50fps and youtube thinks its 60fps for some reason when I stream. I'm unsure weather I'm doing something wrong so here are my settings ive been using.
Laptop
OS: Windows 8.1 64bit
Ram: 12gb
CPU: i5 5200U
IGPU: HD Graphics 5500
Dedicated GPU: geforce GT 840m
Streaming Settings
Program: OBS Studio 19.0.3
Rendering on:Geforce GT 840m
Encoder: Quicksync H.264
Target Usage: Balanced
Profile: high
Keyframe: 2
Async Depth: 4
Rate Control: CBR
Bitrate: 6000kbit/s
Base Resolution: 1280x720
output resolution: 1280x720
Process Priority: Above Normal
Renderer: Direct3d: 11
Color Format: NV 12
YUV Color Space: 709
YUV Color Range: Full
Hopefully You guys have any ideas. I know I'm using quicksync but the quality shouldnt be as bad as it is. Shortly ill hopefully upload some video footage of this to show the differences. Also the log is right here. Anyways thank for reading.
