Streaming to YouTube and Facebook, does this double the bandwidth used?

Hello,
We are considering using multi stream. Can anyone tell me how this affect bandwidth usage?
Does OBS Studio basically send a separate full stream to both YouTube and Facebook?

I haven't played with the latest OBS v27.xxx, back in v26 multi-streaming was NOT a default option. One needed to use a plugin
and yes, 2 separate streams = bandwidth for both streams
and beware that the stream requirements vary between the 2, so care/thought required

As noted above, there are services like reastream.io that can take a single stream input, and then send to multiple CDNs (YouTube, Facebook, etc)
Going thru such a relay will add some latency, and adds an extra failure point in the data stream path. .... just pointing out there are Pro's & Con's
