Whats even your problem? Or rather what are you trying to stream, also please provide a log.

As for your screenshots 720p60 on fast preset with a fx4300 is quite optimistic I would justify the limit of this cpu being 720p30 on veryfast Preset if even depending on the game.

Hi,

The AMD FX(tm)-4300 Quad-Core Processor isn't a strong cpu, but to get a decent picture for streaming you need to use x264 software and not AMD's GPU encoder due to the low bitrate.

You can try as mentioned 720p @ 30fps with CBR 2700 as long as you have about 2.9mb internet upload. The CPU preset though will need to be ultrafast so the quality will suffer, you can try and use a lower res maybe 540p@30fps.

Try the above settings out then repost the OBS log if you are still unhappy but I wouldn't expect decent fps in say CSGO and a sharp stream due to that CPU.

Hi guys I think I'm having a performance issue as well. I dont know how to make my own post so I guess I'll ask here.

Im trying to stream at 60 fps 540p while playing with 144hz in CS:GO. The problem is that my frames in game go way below 120 in certain maps and in certain areas within these maps like Cache or Inferno. Here are my specs:
I7 6700 Skylake
MSI h110m Gaming motherboard
Rx 480 Sapphire Nitro+ GPU I havent overclocked yet and I do not see the reason why I should
16gb ram Corsair Dual Vengeance 8x2

People in reddit keep telling me that I should be getting 300 fps even while streaming. The funny thing is, even without streaming I would only get 130-200 fps.

So I am wondering if this is an OBS issue with my settings while streaming, or if I need to do something with my PC.

Sounds more like an issue with Windows, I assume Windows 10. I also assume its the Xbox Game DVR, Google and disable it.

so... what obs is ok for me? Open Broadcaster Software or OBS Studio?
