Regarding your audio settings:
At least one of your audio devices has a sample rate that doesn't match the rest. This can result in audio drift over time or sound distortion. Check your audio devices in Windows settings (both Playback and Recording) and ensure the Default Format (under Advanced) is consistent. 48000 Hz is recommended.
OBS Sample Rate: 44100 Hz
Speakers (Realtek High Definition Audio): 48000 Hz
Microphone (USB Audio Device): 48000 Hz

Regarding your video encoder settings:
Your log contains no recording or streaming session. Results of this log analysis are limited. Please post a link to a clean log file.
To make a clean log file, please follow these steps:

1) Restart OBS.
2) Start your stream/recording for about 30 seconds. Make sure you replicate any issues as best you can, which means having any games/apps open and captured, etc.
3) Stop your stream/recording.
4) Select Help > Log Files > Upload Current Log File. Send that link via this troubleshooting tool or whichever support chat you are using.

Even though you are not dropping any frames, please be aware that in many cases, wireless connections can cause issues because of their unstable nature. Streaming really requires a stable connection. Often wireless connections are fine, but if you have problems, the first troubleshooting step would be to switch to wired. We highly recommend streaming on wired connections.

Uncheck Look-ahead and set your B-Frames to 2.

If your trying to get better quality and the content is high motion, you need to increase your bitrate or lower your frame rate. NVIDIA recommends a bitrate of 5,000 for 720p 60FPS.

Change that to 48kHz. It's currently on 44.1kHz and shouldn't be.
If it says it's on 48, swap it to 44.1, OK out of the Settings, exit OBS, start OBS, and switch it to 48kHz (I ran into that problem once).

I was able to follow along the instructions in OBS but I don't know how do it in window settings.
Currently it is 48000 Hz. How can I make it 44100 Hz ?
Please Help

You would go into the Sound dialog, into the properties for each device, to the Advanced tab, and select the Default Format sampling rate from the dropdown box:

Hello, I'm a Twitch streamer and my OBS and Chrome are crashing often. I suspect is because of the audio settings. I'm trying to change my sample rates to be all the same, but my laptop microphone only supports 48000 Hz and my Headphone only supports 44100 Hz. I have no other options there and I believe this is causing the crashes.

Is there any way to solve the problem or do I need to buy a new headphone/microphone?

I'm using my laptop built-in mic and my headphone is a Bose Quiet Comfort QC35 II. I really like these headphones as they are very comfortable, so I'm more inclined to buy a mic and change everything to 44100 Hz. Do you think that would work? Thank you very much.

@trezik Different samplerates may make things go worse in obs, thats right. With a total crash instead its often other causes. And why should different samplerates enforce your chrome crashing? With a higher likelihood your crashing(s) have another cause.

It started happening after I installed this new audio software to split the audio channels. I will investgate further and see if I can find other causes. Thank you very much for the reply.
