Question / Help Streaming OBS to Twitch on OSX with Elgato or Emulator

I've been beating myself with this issue for almost 3 months now. My ultimate goal would be to stream NES games to Twitch using my Elgato through my Mac running OSX and using facecam.

No problems with facecam itself, that is the easy part.

Problems:
On the Mac, I cannot figure out how to get the Elgato to display and get sound correctly.
Tried OpenEmu to emulate games - I've gotten this to work horribly. Either feedback issues into built in mic or when balanced, the sound fluctuates to being off from 1/2 to 2 seconds so it comes out as garbage. I have tried using WavTap, but that does not work under OSX due to security. Tried SoundFlower and can't configure it properly for the output of OpenEmu.
Switched to a PC running Windows 7 and get a Whoops crashing issue when starting up with no log file. Best I can figure is the video card sucks GForce 2 61xx

I would really like to see if I can get the Elgato to work doing video and audio on its own channel and then facecam and microphone on the other. I plan on simply using the internal facecam and mic.

Thanks for any help you can offer. I have watched so many youtube videos and skimmed this forum but cannot find a solution with this setup. :(

iMac Retina 5K, 27 inch, Late 2014
Processor3.5 Ghz Intel Core i5
