Question / Help Streaming issues

Hello everyone!

I have been trying to stream iRacing for a while now. It's a racing sim. I am streaming on twitch. I have an i7 4770 and a gtx460. I use x264 encoder but I have the option to enable quicksync. The problem my game is just running perfectly smooth. The stream is not. Far from it even. On Twitch it runs at about 10 fps. This is a really big problem for me. I want to stream at 720p at 30fps. Where can I see what's bottlenecking and what do I need to change?

Please post a link to a clean log file. To make a clean log file, first restart OBS, then start your stream/recording for ~30 seconds and stop it again. Make sure you replicate any issues as best you can, which means having any games/apps open and captured, etc. When you're done select Help > Log Files > Upload Current Log File. Copy the URL and paste it here.

Looks like GPU bottleneck. Maybe you forgot to turn on Vsync or FPS limit, so the Game is pushing as many FPS as possible.

I thought the CPU was doing all the work with x264. I am only using 10% of my CPU in game. I'm also only getting 15 fps on obs
