Question / Help Streaming I5

Hello. I have a problem. i want some good settings for streaming for my pc. i5 2400 , 6gb ram , R9 270 2Gb OC version. When i play csgo on stream my ping is high :(. Can you help me ? That is my internet connection

Hi,

The i5 2400 CPU is pretty weak and inorder to get a decent stream quality need it to be as this relies on x264 software encoding. Give the below ago and or post the obs log once you have streamed, how to do this is a sticky.

x264 software
cpu preset veryfast or if it lags superfast
540p
30fps
CBR
2000 bitrate

Hi,

Your using the AMD VCE encorder this isn't the recommended for streaming as it can't handle the lower bitrates that x264 software can. If you are happy with the quality then all good. What is it you streaming to facebook is it low motions or high motion games?

I see sometimes you are also recording this is showing some lag %

Yes, i stream to facebook 720p. What i sayd, with those settings i had high ping on csgo, so my connection isn't that good. A bitrate to have no lag on csgo while streaming?

Actually noone can help you. Lower your Bitrate untill it stops lagging or contact your ISP and call them names for not working properly 30Mbit but cant even stream with 2500 Bitrate (~2,5Mbit)

As @alpinlol has said its worth checking to see if you have some isp issues as streaming at 2.5mb shouldn't cause high ping. What is the jump? e.g. when not streaming 50 when 200? does the ping drop once you stop the streaming?
