Hello OBS Forum Crew,

I'm glad to join the community, I see the forums are active and that there's a lot of help available! Hopefully, I can get a little help as well.

I want to start streaming CS:GO. I don't know all that much about computers (don't get me wrong, I built and configured my own but I'm no expert) so I'm not sure what settings to use for streaming, etc. From what I've gathered since my rig isn't all that great, and I'm streaming a high motion game I should stick to 30 FPS (not 60).

So what do I need help with?

I would like to stream 1280 x 720 at 30 FPS. Is this possible? What should my settings be? So far with whatever I configured, my game is quite choppy.

Intel Core i5-3570 3.40 GHz
AMD Radeon 7800 Series
4 GB RAM
1 TB HD
19.81 Mbps upload

if you want to improve your stream quality you can change your cpu preset. change it to medium if your cpu can handle it. also use 2500-3000 Bitrate (2500 has better watch-compatibilty but 3000 look better)
