Question / Help Streaming black screen

I'm trying to stream Starbound and for some reason it won't capture anything other than a black screen. the log says it can't render a texture for it using either capture game or capture window. it is the only game I've had an issue with so far. a couple times i got it to broadcast a weird amalgamation of screens that were open behind the starbound window but that's about it.

Remove the game capture source from the "generic game cap" scene.

I started a new scene collection to test it. the same thing is happening though.

Try running OBS as admin with the new scene collection.
