Question / Help Streaming Bitrate and CPU demand

Good morning guys,

i have a simple question.
I want to make a good stream on youtube in 1080p 60fps and after some search around i cant find a good bitrate value. My maximum upload line speed is 11000.
You think 8000 is good enough for that kind of stream? Better maybe for a 1080p 30fps?
And also in what way bitrate is connected to cpu demand?
I mean with the same resolution an higher bitrate cause less or more use of cpu resources?

Thanks a lot.

Bitrate has no bearing on CPU usage.
If you're streaming to twitch, 8000 is above their recommended (and I believe their upper limit)

8000kbps is still fairly low for truly "good" quality 1080p60, unless you're able to go to some insane quality presets. 1080p30 would most likely look crisp though.

Of course, it 100% depends on the material you're encoding. Lots of action and complex scenery will always require more bitrate to look good.
