Note: This may be a hardware fault but since its only happening when OBS is running and streaming I'll start by asking on this forums first.
Running on a RX 580 8GB and streaming using AMF (kept up to date).
Frequency:
Problem happens at random and unable to reproduce at will. It can at times allow me to stream and game for hours till it happens or just a mere few minutes into the game.
Issue:
While streaming and playing a game, it suddenly freezes (audio still works) and then just goes to desktop.
Signs:
On OBS, the uprate on the right bottom of the window is 0kbps.
Game still running and appearing on the taskbar, however unable to tab back into the game. Nothing will happen when attempting to bring it back to the foreground.
Unable to run any games afterwards as though my GPU is not connected until I restart the PC.
Originally this happens alot during my PUBG sessions and I just thought the game was too demanding which results in the GPU overheating/failing and I just stopped streaming it. However it just happened during a game of DotA 2 as well which prompts me to figure out the issue.
I've done a full reformat of my PC to eliminate the possibility of old corrupt files but to no avail.
On a side note, I am using Reshade for both games.
