Question / Help Streaming and recording with different UI

Heya,

Is it possible to be streaming with different visual setting (UI) than with recording?

For example I will stream a game. I set up my UI (webcam in left bottom corner, follow counter in left upper corner, chat on right site) and it will stream as it is. But while I am streaming, I wanna record something without that UI and I dont want to switch on different scene because I am streaming and it will ruin my stream.

So is it possible to be recording my game play without this UI while I am live streaming with that UI?
Is there any check button which is able to do that? Or is this function missing.

Not directly. You need a second Monitor and two instances of OBS.
1st is your recording OBS -> the preview goes to fullscreen to the 2nd Monitor.

The 2nd OBS instace is your streaming OBS -> Capture the preview of the 1st OBS on the 2nd Monior. Now you can add suff in the 2nd OBS scenes for streaming.

Hmm with that idea I just need obs twice. With first one I will record witch clean scene and with second one I will stream with my interface setting.
Its not a good solution but atleast its a solution :D
