I am new to OBS and I encountered something. When I stream, I also record that stream. But lets say stream stopped for a reason. Internet connection is lost etc. If I continue to speak and finish normally, can I have a full recording or does it only capture the stream when it is available.
Yesterday my stream stopped, no data was transferring but I had internet connection, discord, working. And when I checked the recording later, it was cut at the same time I lost connection. Maybe OBS stopped working altogether, though it was responding to everything just was not streaming.
So I thought it records the stream when available. If this is not the case then something else happened. I force stopped OBS from windows, could not end stream from the end button, restarted it and continued, everything worked. I cut the gap later. But lost one minute of footage.
