Question / Help Streaming and recording encoder

So I have decided my to try out streaming and recording using multiplatform.
This will be recording at 1080p 60fps, and streaming and 720p 30fps.
For recording I have been using the Nvidia NVENC h.264 encoder and it seems to be very good at minimizing PC strain.
When streaming at the same time should I also use that encoder? Or is that going to be too much strain on my GPUs?

Any assistance would be great, thank you.

No you should not use nvenc for streaming period.
And you cant record and stream at different framerates yet anyway.

MAYBE.

You need to pour a LOT of bitrate into nvenc to match x264's quality.
Yeah I noticed that, running around 50k for my Local, which does come out quite nice.
I will give it a test using x264 for streaming, and nvenc for local.

Thank you!

Yeah, I'd like to take this opportunity to request an fps pulldown feature where we can set everything up at 1080p60, then scale down/pulldown to 720p30 for streaming (using x264) while keeping the original for recording (using GPU encoding).

Heck, we might get to a 1/4 pulldown to record at 120fps and make some sweet slowmo :D !
