Question / Help Stream Stutter In Preview/Online

Stream will stutter in the preview window and online. I am going from my Gaming PC to my Streaming PC via crossover ethernet (usb 3.0) @ 50,000, and the Gaming PC is receiving the data fine but in OBS it is struggling for some reason. The Streaming PC is an I7-4770k. CPU never gets near 50%. I've tried just about everything, different presets, different bitrates, different keyframes, etc. I am at a loss. And if it isn't stuttering, it isn't a smooth '60fps' like it should be; looks more like 25fps.

Please upload a log with a recording/streaming session in it. Open OBS record for a few minutes then stop then get the log file.

Until you do that all I can suggest is using the 64bit version of OBS, and also try turning on VSync in game.

I don't know what you mean it doesn't look like 60fps it looked fine to me.

Are you sure you uploaded the logs where you are getting the issue? The logs look fine to me.

Maybe it is a problem with twitch, i couldn't really tell because the twitch servers were being extremely slow when i was trying to watch the video.

You probably don't even need a streaming pc, for 720p60 at 3500 kbps a 6700 and 1070 should be fine. But what you can try is lowering your bitrate to 3000 if it is a problem with twitch.

Also what has helped me is capping the game at a more reasonable framerate. Turning on V-Sync, or even just capping your framerate at like 120 should be fine.

But as of the current logs, you have very little framedrop, and everything seems to look fine.
