Hi all,

Right just a few questions. Firstly the important bits :

PC Specs:

i7 6700k - running at 4.2ghz
16gb of 2666mhz DDR4
Asus Strix GTX970
Win10
Black Magic Intensity Capture card.

Latest OBS Studio

Games Streamed :

PC - DayZ, CSGO, CoD, Rocket League

XBox One - Forza

PS4 - Battelfront, Mortal Kombat

Internet upload - Speedtest is showing 5mb/s however believe to be 4mb/s when tested using twitch tools

What sort of settings should I be using to stream at 720p 60fps . Or should I cut it down to 30fps.

Also - is there still a use HyperThreading option ?

Thanks for any input you guys can give :)

Good PC. Give me a half. At least, I can run your HDD...

General suggestions, one HW encoder for streaming (Quick Sync or NVENC), one encoder for recording (different encoder).
Sometimes people like to stream with Software x264 for better quality (CPU is strong but make sure that you don't get overload - it's still possible).

As for exact settings, Output Mode: Simple. Or it is not enough and you wanna multi-track audio?

Multi Track audio is something that I need to do as I have Astro a40's running through the MixAmp so it splits game and TeamSpeak audio.

I Dont think I will record that often as I can just pull my Stream Highlights.

It's annoying - as before i upgraded my pc I managed to stream in this quality :

But have since lost my settings
