So I've been fiddling with my settings to get a decent quality stream running but no matter what settings I use it doesnt really quite change (what I find odd). No matter if I try 720p with 30 or 60fps up to 1080p 30 or 60 fps the quality does not really change. Even when running with more intense CPU presets (faster) or downscale filters the quality doesnt really change - only thing I notice is that, obviously, with like 1440p (native resolution) @ 60fps it gets pretty blurry.
I'm using 3500 CBR as baseline bitrate - what I dont understand is, that even with 720p @30fps it still looks the same as on 1080p @60fps - so what am I doing wrong? Does the downscale from 1440p native really have that great an impact on the quality in general?
