Hey everyone,
We are seeing the strangest thing on our OBS instance on a Dell Windows PC.
Under Settings -> Output -> Streaming I specifically set the encoder to x264 and
the bit rate to CBR 6000. I then shut OBS down and a few days later when I bring
it back up, the encoder is set to NVENC and the bit rate to 10000.
This happens over and over; I set it back and days later it resets.
I would say that the system is demon possessed, but since this is used for a
worship service, probably not the best way to describe things.
I tried creating a new Profile and Scene Collection and then changing the settings
to no avail. I run OBS in regular mode (not in Administrative mode).
We've been running this system for > 5 years and just recently started seeing this.
