Question / Help Stream & Recordings hollow sounding

My viewers hear the audio sounding hollow but sounds fine in my ear but if I record it I hear what they hear. Even if I use my motherboard audio it does the same unless I turn off the surround sound (5.1 & 7.1) and put it on stereo then it is fine but even if I record stereo and listen back in surround sound it sounds hollow. Like obs studio doesn't know how to process the surround sound, problem is I have to have it for the games I play but even if I put obs to downmix to mono or even stereo it doesn't do anything. I do not know if there is a setting that I have worng somewhere causing this. If someone has an idea it would help me out. Thanks.

OS: Windows 10 Home (up to date)
Headset: Turtle Beach Stealth 450 DTS 7.1 surround sound
OS Audio: Realtek

I guess this has been answered in that OBS can not receive surround sound input and encode it correctly. I guess I will have to wait for them to add this later or I'll have to look for one that will either do it or will be able to down mix it
