Question / Help Stream quality Laggy/stuttering

Hi everyone,

I've been searching for the answers on how to eliminate the stuttering on my stream.

Its an eye sore to my viewers that my stream stutters too much.

I've also looked and tried for solutions but i starting to feel like giving up my streaming career because the stuttering still exist.

Here's the Specs of my computer:

-Ryzen 5 1600
-Corsair vengeance 16 GB OC @ 2600mhz
-Zotac GTX 1060 6gb

Do you have this problem since a few days? A friend of mine (and me too) had a similar problem. As soon as we started streaming OBS ran into encoding overload without changing any settings.

The reason behind this were windows updates which where installed around 12th - 15th of december. I installed my updates on 12th, my friend on 15th. Uninstalling these updates resolved the issue.

Have you installed windows updates recently?
