Question / Help Stream Quality is poor/laggy

Hey,

So I recently decided I wanted to get into Twitch. I have a MacBook Pro 15", Blue Yeti microphone, Logitech C920 face cam, and an Elgato. When I try to stream, the quality on OBS is really poor and choppy. I have looked all over the internet for suggestions but I can't seem to find any solutions as to what to do. I can provide more information if needed. Thanks so much.

About your problem, try raising your bitrate to 2500 or 3000.

Hey, thanks for your response. I tried changing the bitrate, but I don't really see too much of an improvement. The quality is a little bit better and less laggy, but its still not anywhere near what I'm looking for.

@nicaletin What I do know is if you want to live-stream, the most you could go is up to 3500. Anyway, try setting your CPU preset to fast or superfast(this raises the quality by sacrificing a bit of your CPU).
