Question / Help stream looks nice, in game is choppy and annoying to play

i have a few questions but mainly why is my in game choppy but my stream looks great. and also what bitrate should i stream at if i 12.07mbps upload?

whats the games you play? cause you have a 970 which will hold you back playing with max settings well streaming since obs uses alot of power as well if you are not yet using the nvidia encoder try that and see. using the gpu encoder will help with ingame fps

im mainly just playing overwatch, i play on low settings even tho i can run it on ultra off stream. with my settings now i get 250fps off stream. and 120 fps on stream is i have no limit on it. i tried limiting it to 60 and still the same. my cpu usage is only 40% when streaming too. idk what the nvidia encoder is, what is that? is the nvidia encoder the one that says hardware(NVENC) instead of using Software x264?
