Hi, i'm super new to streaming and i have looked around on the internet for a answer on this and i couldn't seem to find one so i thought i'd ask here, maybe i'm asking to much but my streams seem to look blurry and unclear, Some people have told me it looks fine but when i compare it to other streams it looks way off. I will put some examples below From both using PS4 remote play (I know a capture card is better) with a wired and wireless connection, plus from my PC. my download is usually around 45 with 17/18 up. When i used the Ethernet connection on PS4 with remote play i got 6.2 up with around 40 down. and 40 down on Wi-Fi with a solid 5 up. (I checked this on the PS4 itself using test connection)
I know my PC specs are not ideal for streaming but i thought i could get away with a smooth and clear image on my stream or maybe i'm kidding myself? if that's the case could anyone direct me to what i should be upgrading first to have a better streaming experience? I believe remote play doesn't have anything to do with how good my PC is so is the blurriness from that due to remote play or the fact i don't have good enough internet? Any advice or and guidance would be very much appreciated. Thanks. My PC specs are the following: If i have missed any information that might be relevant just ask and ill post it.
CPU: AMD A8-9600 RADEON R7, 10 COMPUTE CORES 4C+6G, 3100 Mhz, 4 cores, 4 logical processors.
RAM DDR4 8GB
Video card GTX 750TI
Hard Drive 1TB 7200rpm
My OBS settings are:
Video Bitrate: 2800
Encoder Hardware: (NVENC)
Encoder preset: Quality
Base canvas Res 1280x720
Output res 1280/720 Downscale filter Lanczos streaming at 30fps.
