Question / Help Stream key will not allow me to paste. I type control v and nothing happens

I am trying to get my mac book pro mid model 2015 running Mojave to live stream on FB and You tube . The problem I am encountering is that the stream key will not paste anything at all into obs field. Any information is greatly appreciated
