Question / Help Stream just lags my pc the fuck out every game, every time.

I've not got the stream running in a window to watch it I just go to stream it live and try playing and it lags my game really badly (usually on about 70/80fps+, and I have tried many different types of settings, my rig is currently as follows.

i5 6600k running at 4.5Ghz 16gb of DDR4 RAM 1070GTX

Remove the extra game capture sources. Use hotkey based selection if you play extensively borderless.

OBS is using CPU to try hook into those sources even when unticked? or is it just I should be setting it up per stream/per game?

It is potentially using additional cpu to try, and the hooks WILL trip over each other and interfere with each other rather than just only one try to work.
