Hello,

Iam streaming with the NVENC new encoder and my Stream gets blurry when iam moving ingame. When iam standing still it looks good.

I asked another streamer for help, copied his settings. He is using a Nvidia 20x gen Card, iam using a 30x gen card. Yet my stream is way way worse than his.

Here are the settings:

Encoder: Hardware NVENC (new)

CBR

Bitrate: 6000

Keyframe: 0

Preset: Quality

Profil: high

6000kb

Here is a sample stream, look at Minute 30 i had my facecam on, when iam moving ingame you almost cannot see my face anymore.

Here is a sample stream of the Streamer i asked for help and copied the Settings from, also please look at Minute 30. The Game looks way better and the Cam is NEVER blurry.

How can i have these issues with the exact same settings and way better hardware?

We would need to see a logfile from a streaming or recording session at least 30 seconds in length to be able to provide accurate troubleshooting.

Blur on movement is 100% a sign of insufficient bitrate. If bitrate cannot be increased, resolution or framerate can be lowered to improve the bits-per-pixel density, and improve image quality.

Your stream is using some wonky 1664x936 resolution. His is using 1920x1080. Same with the artifacting/pixelation. It looks about the same from most spot-checks, bearing in mind that you are sending a weird resolution; if you're scaling down to whatever-that-is, it's going to come with significant quality loss. Whenever his camera moves, most of the foliage blurs, then recovers a few seconds after he stops.

Your camera is MUCH SMALLER, and you're further from the camera so are even smaller. His head is the size of your entire chest. Any pixelation will be far less noticeable as he is simply bigger. It's still present, if you look closely. He's also higher contrast and significantly better-lit.
