I'm actually not quite sure how to properly title this, so I'll start with specs and settings, and then give what I'm experiencing.
I have a download and upload of 100mbps, I7 3930k 6 cores at 3.2Ghz, GTX 680 4Gb, 16Gb ram. When I stream I've used NVENC H.264 and regular x264. For x264 settings I check Enforce streaming service encoder settings, rescale to 1280x720, CBR, bit rate 4500, unchecked Use Custom Buffer Size, Keyframe Interval 2, CPU Usage faster, Profile high, Tune (none), no extra options. For NVENC H.264 I check Enforce streaming service encoder settings, rescale 1280x720, CBR, bit rate 4500, Keyframe Interval 2, Preset high performance, Profile high, Level 4, unchecked two pass encoding, GPU 0, B-frames 2. When I use x264 I get about 40% CPU usage at most.
Now for my experience. When I stream, at the bottom right of OBS you see LIVE: 00:00:00 REC: 00:00:00 and then CPU: 5%, 60.00 fps. Or something like that. As I stream PUBG I don't have any dropped frames indicated by the dropped frames section at the bottom left, nor do I have any dropped frames in game, my connection is stable and my CPU usage isn't too high and neither is my GPU usage. But where it says CPU: 5%, 60.00 fps, I'll see the frames indicator to the right of CPU: 5% start dropping low, not accurately reflecting the quality of gameplay I'm experiencing, but in the OBS preview it will show frame loss, and then once the footage reaches the Twitch server it shows as well.
Are some of my settings to blame for this? I'm a bit at a loss as to what I should do.
