I just started getting FPS drops when streaming, recording, and even just when previewing. I've been using OBS and OBS MP/Studio for almost 3 years, and this problem just started a few days ago.
My in-game FPS is fine. OBS isn't dropping frames, but my actual stream stutters about every 10-20 seconds and the FPS counter (in OBS) can get as low as 22FPS. Doesn't sound like much, but it's a noticeable stutter when viewing my stream. I first noticed this when playing Overwatch, but it's also happening with Doom, FFXIV, Elite Dangerous, and pretty much every game I play. I've disabled any sort of Game Mode and Game DVR. CPU usage never goes above 14% or so for OBS, and I monitor my total CPU usage, and for these games, it never goes over 70% total usage when streaming.
I've tried different settings and tinkered around, but the problem persists. Again, these are all games I've played in the past with no issues at all. I can't pinpoint any specific change that's been made to my system that could cause problems.
