I don't know how to quantify this or what data would be helpful, but I have been using OBS for a 24/7 livestream for the past several months. This morning I updated to the latest, 0.15.2, and my encoding got super choppy, as well as having glitches of the ... I'm not sure how you would call it, but when you get boxes and stripes instead of the image.
I reverted to 14.2 and things are much better. I also tried rebooting, and everything else I could think to do. So. This is just meant to explain that there is pretty clearly some kind of problem in 15.2, even if it's just that it uses too many more processor resources (I'm typically running at about 70-80% reported CPU use -- the SOLE purpose of this box is to run OBS and the stream).
I'm absolutely willing to help in any way possible, if you need any extra data, just ask. The stream output is viewable at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_o74BnFSr8g
I tried to upload the log files, but it just hangs. So here's the last-but-one logfile, which was when I was having issues, I presume. If you want more... just ask.
