Stream disconnecting and connecting..

Hi there,

I'm experiencing this issue with my streams, I stream on Facebook and I use the standard version of OBS, the problem is that during my streams, loads of times my streams just disconnects and reconnects, so its basically dropping for a few seconds then comes back, and happens loads of times. I changed from Streamlabs OBS to normal OBS thinking the issue is with the program but it happens the same. I'm posting below the logs. Thanks ! P.S.: at 16:20:54.603 I started the stream, before I started it and stopped it.

that is an odd refresh rate? typical recommendation is to make sure all audio devices using same refresh rate

your bitrate is higher than needed for a 720p/30fps stream, try lowering until you get stable throughput, then raise. But deal with the network issues as well/if not first

log shows network connection errors, though you appear to be using 1GbE wired connection
17:17:57.367: Output 'adv_stream': Number of dropped frames due to insufficient bandwidth/connection stalls: 563 (5.6%)

What an OBS log doesn't show is
- what else you PC is up and if it overloaded and dropping network traffic for some reason (rare, but happens)
- your Internet connection isn't up to the task. Is something else using the same upload connection? is your wired connection then connecting to a cellular or other wireless (ex WiFi bridge) technology?

Hi thanks for your reply,
No, there isn’t any WiFi bridge or something, can it have something to do with the router or the coaxial cable ? Because since I changed the router/modem and upgraded from 500mb to 1Gbs I’m experiencing this issue, they said it’s some interference and they have to come and change the cable, because sometimes my internet just drops throught the house, but here it’s something else, the internet it’s working but only the stream disconnects...

Also, what bitrate should I use for 1080 30fps ? I’m currently using 6000, changed from 8000, on the Normal obs wouldn’t let me use 1080 so I went back to Streamlabs obs and changed the bitrate only.

Right lads, thanks a lot for your replies. I will try it later on today on my stream and see if it changed anything... I've updated all my drivers, it seemed that I had some drivers outdated, lowered the bitrate to a level where it's a good quality and good performance and deactivated the antivirus, I hope it helps, will come back with an update :)

Having the same issue. After changing the router(From coaxial cable connection to fiber cable connection) I am experiencing intermittent disconnection and reconnection of my OBS. I almost have the same settings as the original post. Please see logs attached. Is there any solution to this?
