Stream Deck XL Hotkey Switch Issue

I updated to OBS 30.1.2 and the Hotkey Switch only works if the Stream Deck software is open. If a close the Stream Deck software or even minimize it, it no longer works. Is there a fix for this or do I have to go back to an older version of OBS? (It works with OBS 29.1.3)
