Stream Deck help

I'm currently using Elgato Stream Deck to launch pop ups and such for my twitch stream. But being as it is a hotkey I have to press it again to "hide" it so I can use it again.

Would it be hard to make it play thru and then auto hide?

Enabled "Hide source when playback ends" in the source properties, and this should allow you to accomplish what you want.

yea it hides when finished but the next press of the button on my stream deck, hides it. then i have to press again to play again. so after play i have to press twice to play again.

There was a bug where hide when playback ends wasn't actually setting the source in the list to hidden, but the backend status only. It was corrected in 20.0, what version of OBS are you on?

I'm not the same person as above, but this bug seems to still be happening when I just tested it in OBS 20.0.1. The source doesn't get hidden in source list, but it does stop playing.
