Stream crashing, monitor cuts out and loss of audio - NVENC error?

My partner has a relatively new PC (6 months now) and recently her streaming has been interrupted 2 or 3 times by a complete crash. This has only happened when streaming Overwatch, but she has been kicked out of the game, her stream has gone down, I think she gets kicked out of discord too and she loses all audio. Understandably she's a little concerned about why this is happening and would really appreciate some advice on what might be the cause.

This "Device Remove/Reset" error is a graphics driver crash resulting either from defective hardware or defective driver. Revert overclocking, check overheating, check power supply, check card and cable seating. For AMD CPUs, make sure your Bios is updated.
If your PC is custom built, make sure components are compatible, for example make sure memory and storage is in the memory / storage compatibility table of the motherboard.

The driver is the most recent NVIDIA release. The PC was a pre-built and she doesn't use any kind of overclock. She hasn't updated the BIOS and I'm pretty sure HWMonitor hasn't shown up any temperature issues.
Is there any way to isolate the problem or provoke it into happening to help identify the cause?
