hi and thx for the reply1440x900 is a 16:10 aspect ratio. Twitch and YouTube uses a 16:9 ratio. To get rid of the black bars on the side I suggest that you set your base canvas to 1440x810. Now obviously the game source will not fit properly, so either you center it to just cut out the top and bottom parts, or you make it fit the new canvas, but it would be slightly distorted.
In regards to the crash, please share a log. If you have started OBS after the crash you need to look for the appropriate log.
You can change it by typing in a new resolution manually. The dark theme makes it look like you can't change it, but you can.I can't change the canvas, i have just one canvas : its 1440x900
Total encoded frames: 485654
Number of skipped frames due to encoding lag: 1307 (0.3%)
Number of lagged frames due to rendering lag/stalls: 48 (0.0%)
Number of dropped frames due to insufficient bandwidth/connection stalls: 395319 (81.4%)
its a real crash with window who open : "obs.exe à cessé de fonctionner" in frenchIs OBS actually crashing, or is it just disconnecting?
Found in "%APPDATA%\obs-studio\crashes"Please post the crash log.
If we can figure out the crash, when you go to stream again you will still need to lower your bitrate and it mainly depends on your connection what it can handle.i set 1440x810 and 640x360 , 10 fps
how much kbps i need for having 0 crash and an good connection ?
i have adsl connection, 19/20 ping ms, 11.90 Mbps Download, 0.89 Mbps Upload,Found in "%APPDATA%\obs-studio\crashes"

What will look good is also heavily dependent on what content you're showing on stream. But I can suggest that you can go as low as 500 kbps, because that will give you 0.217 bits per pixel. Try going from there.
