Stream audio is fine in OBS but is quiet when I switch out of the HDMI source.

For context, I do not have multiple monitors and instead use a HDMI switcher to change between my PC and my Switch.

I've been having issues with my audio being too quiet for my stream for a while, but the other day I found out that when I switch to my PC screen to go on OBS, the volume is at a perfect level, but when I change back to my Switch, the volume is nearly silent.
I've got desktop audio as high as it can go, same with my capture device audio, I've checked my audio settings in the capture card's source properties, changed the monitoring settings and nothing has worked.
I'm still very new to OBS so this may be an issue that's easily fixed, but when I asked other streamer friends of mine they said they had no idea. I'm at a loss and have no idea why there is such a difference in the volume when I switch from one HDMI source to another on my monitor. If anyone could help me out it would be much appreciated! Thanks!
