Question / Help Strange video glitching happening when streaming [SOLVED]

I've been able to stream using OBS for months now but last week and last night the stream would glitch out really hard making it unwatchable. I've tried everything I could think of and now I'm here. Below is a screenshot of some of the visual glitching I've been suffering from.

Here's the log file. https://hastebin.com/orexekaquk

I'm new here so if I've done something wrong I apologise. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Looks like you've got media sources with the "use hardware decoding" option checked and the decoder is encountering an error. If this is true, try turning that option off.

22:33:19.246: Video stopped, number of skipped frames due to encoding lag: 9910/143460 (6.9%)

You are overloading your CPU even at 720p30 and superfast preset. This machine is basically under the minimum spec for OBS Studio. Try going to ultrafast and/or going lower than 720p30.

Thanks for the info. Strange that my system seems underspec when I've been using it to stream without issue for the last year or so. I found my intro had hardware decoding turned on, I've turned it off. I've also switched from superfast to ultrafast. I'll update windows and OBS though since you say they're out of date and I'll test it out. Thanks for the tips.

After you update Windows make sure you go back into the Windows Game Settings and turn everything off, namely Game Mode

I don't know about windows game settings, I stream using my PS4 so I assume the windows game settings have nothing to do with it, but I'll turn them off just in case.

It looks like updating OBS and Windows did the trick. I just did a test stream and everything seemed to be working normally. Thanks guys!
