Question / Help Strange OBS & Win 10 issue

Hi guys hope someone can help me with this, I have searched these forums and also google already and cant seem to find the solution.

I have a strange issue around OBS and Windows 10 freezing intermittently. Even before starting the stream/record I get intermittent freezing as soon as I move my mouse off the active obs window and into say start menu or open edge browser.

As soon as I am able to then get the mouse pointer back into the obs window things run like a dream again,
I cant for the life of me figure it out.

I have noticed when alt+tabbing when I have the issue I have a 'GraphicsCardEngine' window that appears I don't know if this is part of the problem?

That graphicscardengine thing could be from GigaByte as far as google tells me. You might want to check if this is bloatware you can remove. Software that comes with graphic cards unfortunately can sometimes lead to problems. Especially with capturing a desktop.

In your log file I noticed you have your Headset connected as your Desktop audio but also add it to a scene as an Audio Output Capture. So OBS will try to capture it twice. This should not result in a freezing but you might want to remove the Audio Output Capture source from your scenes.

Jack0r thank you for the reply. I have now completely uninstalled the Gigabyte bloatware that you were talking about however I think ii may have fixed the issue myself last night, I was reading another thread a few pages back where someone else had a similar issue and it was fixed by changing the Video renderer to OpenGL instead on Direct 3D 11
