Hi,
A SD picture is produced by a studio/OB cam at 625i25 (Sony BVP-E10P). Output SDI 270 Mb/s is fed to an AJA Kona LHi acquisition card, whose SDI output is monitored by a Multiformat Sony LMD-9050 monitor. Up to this point the picture is perfect (whether in passthru or in upscale 1080i25 formats) on the monitor. Which means the acquisition board is able to process the video signal. Companion app AJA Control Room is able to display it on the computer desktop. Then this application is closed.
Now for OBS, application launch is pretty long, sometimes crashes without opening a window, or when opening the displayed pictures are pretty weird (see enclosed files displayed in fast succession). At the top we can see a multiple image of the actual signal (whose number depends on the input resolution/format).
In the middle and the bottom we find either digital looking noise, or ghosts images that were fed *an hour before* in the computer (12 core MacPro at 3,46 GHz, 48 GB RAM) and are no more present at the Kona LHi SDI input (my head and a color bars test picture):
OBS does NOT accept 25 images per second nor 50 frames per second in the assistant. Only North American standard 30/60 (see Assistant settings), although the software has been translated:
Is this a matter of lacking of frame rates availability (25/50) in the app (prefered hypothesis), an improper decoding of the video stream, or a storage allocation issue ?
Video record available but .mkv files not allowed in attached files.
Please help!
Christian
