A friend recently got a new laptop and wanted to stream. They’d not had any issues with OBS before this. But after updating to the most recent version of OBS, the viewer can only seem to hear part of the stereo spectrum?
Example, they can just *barely hear in game music and dialogue (thin, high, very quiet and tinny, as if only hearing it as bleed from a headset), but sound effects like dripping water etc., are clear and normal .
It’s the effect you get if your headphones are not fully plugged in and you only hear parts of the full spectrum, then you plug it the rest of the way in and it’s loud and full stereo.
This was the case for both Fallout 4 and WoW so far.
Any ideas what might cause this? Thx!
