Straightening Out Audio

Hello!
I'm a newbie streamer who plays games and I'm trying to make my audio the best it can be. Right now I'm trying to make it so discord, my mic, browser, and game windows are their own separate sources so I can adjust them each individually but I can't seem to get it to work. Does anybody here have experience setting this up?

Two ways to do that, that are actually reliable (don't use the Application Audio source - it still has significant bugs):

Install several loopbacks from here (scroll down the page to see all of them):
Then send each app to a different virtual speaker, and have OBS pick up the corresponding virtual mics.

Or:

Install a virtual mixer that includes its own virtual speakers and mics:
Two different sizes of the same thing: 2 or 3 virtual speakers and mics. For you, I think I'd pick the bigger one.
Similar idea as before: send each app to a different virtual speaker, and have OBS pick up at least one virtual mic. The difference is that the virtual speakers appear in some inputs to the virtual mixer, and you have to explicitly mix and send them to the mixer's outputs that feed the virtual mics. Much more flexible that way...with correspondingly more controls to keep track of.
