Stopping recording get stuck

Hi,

Ive got a new Windows 11 machine with the latest install of OBS. I have the problem that when I hit "Stop Recording", it stays in the stuck state and never stops recording. When the machine first starts, I can start and stop successfully, but after a minute or so, every time I try to stop it gets stuck and I have to terminate the process.

I think it must be some process or service thats locking important libraries but I dont know how to debug this. I have tried ununstalling or pausing every start up app and it still doesnt help. The log files dont personally tell me much but maybe they do you.

btw - Im on a 64-bit Windows 11 (latest update)
AMD Ryzen 7 7700X 8-Core Processor 4.50 GHz
32.0 GB (31.1 GB usable)

The machine is running at <5% CPU and <22% memory utilisation

Any ideas what would cause this and how I can resolve it? Many thanks.

Ive managed to work out this is down to LogiTune which is Logitech's camera brightness adjustment app. If its just installed it (but not running) causes problems. I have to completely uninstall it.

Anyone got an ideas why the conflict occurs and what I can do to resolve it? Im using a Logitech C920 webcam which I use in 2 scenes but the third isnt using the webcam.

You may try to replace the mentioned software with other tools.

Some details were in this post (suggestion to stop the service named "Logi Tune Updater Service"):

You have two options, either removing Logitune (while a fix is on the way for that from them, no ETA), or changing your recording format to Hybird MP4.
