Question / Help Stopping recording - for over 8 hours

Hey guys

I streamed last night and recorded my stream at the same time. After ending the stream OBS started to do it's 'stopping recording' but this morning (now over 8 hours later) it's still 'stopping recording'.

I've tried smaller streams (up to 20 minutes) and they do the 'stopping recording' with no problems. What is going on and how can I fix it?

Don't record directly to mp4. Record to FLV (or MKV if you need multi-track audio) and remux the file after.
