nope don't think so - makes no difference if video output is at 30 or 60, or if the singers is at 30 or 60. Always cuts at the same place. The original MOV and/or WEBM play perfectly fine elsewhere. The same stinger files work perfectly fine in XSPLIT too.
I have two potential files to use as stingers... both of them cut out about 2 thirds of the way through - the 3.5 second one above - and a 2 second one (but with no alpha). easy to reproduce - any file, stinger transition, it'll cut out early.
It is only possible for me to switch between two scenes really fast, then when transition incomplete (but the stinger file played more that 50%) and you switch back to previous scene - transition cuts. This - with default transition settings. And what you specified in transition properties? I'm unable to reproduce it in other way.
Try encoding the video in mov format. Set profile in animation and 32bit color to enable alpha channel (if it’s needed) in the quicktime encoder settings.
Hey! I had this same problem and figured it out! My stream output was set to 30fps but my stinger file was set to 60fps. When i re-exported the stinger in 30fps the cut off was fixed!
I am a windows laptop user, I tried everything.. Changing the Stinger format, changing the Transition point, changing the FPS of Stinger but nothing worked.
FIX FOR ME -
But what worked was so weird, after plugging my laptop to charging everything worked... no lag, no stinger transition cutting.
Yoho, good tidings I bring, I also have had this same problem for months now and have arrived at the solution! All I did was make the video be blank for a few seconds after the transition and OBS would cut the blank portion of the stinger and keep the rest nice and pristine! It's not much, but it's honest work.
