Stinger transition audio is doubling

Running into this issue recently. For some reason the audio I have when my stinger transitions is repeating through the system audio and through my mic. Aside from clicking the properties for the transition where it gives me the option to monitor it, there is zero other control over the audio. It doesn't show up in Advanced Audio Properties, so there's no way for me to make sure it only plays on a certain track. Any clue if there's something I can do? Using a GoXLR if it's worthy of noting
