Stinger gets squashed when transparency is added

I made a custom stinger in premiere pro and exported it as a quicktime file which natively supports transparency. It displays fine in VLC and other media viewers, but when I added it to obs as a stinger it becomes squashed and displays bars of transparency at the top and bottom of the recording (as seen in the video attached.)

Rendering the same file without transparency (still in the .mov format) completely fixes this issue, but ruins the effect I was going for. Anyone know how to fix this issue?

In general the size's ratio of the output and stringer should match. In your case try to update OBS software (in between versions there were changes how stinger is scaled). In v27.0.1 all should work OK.

Updated to latest, issue is still there.
Tried uploading the stinger itself to youtube and black bars were added to all sides, probably an issue with the render instead. I'll try messing with premiere pro for a bit and if the issue remains I'll update this thread both for myself and anyone else who may experience the issue in the future.

Edit: yep, issue with premiere. my mistake.

anyone experiencing the same issue, change the export preset to Match Source, then scroll down under the video tab to find the Depth section, then select 8-bpc+alpha, then render. That fixed it for me.

Sorry for wasting your time, Suslik V.
