Bug Report Still dropping frames

Hello everyone, this is my first post in this forum ^_^
I have to confirm what people often says here, I switched to OBS Studio and the dropped frames are incredible high.
Same connection, same computer, same modem, same router, changed server, followed all the hints in this forum nothing changed, I switched back ti OBS Classic and everything returned good, just 2/300 frames dropped every 3 hours of stream (OBS Studio like 30/40.000 frames every hour O_o).
I also thought that it was my computer, so I bought a new one with the almost best hardware available right now (Last Kaby Lake, Last Nvidia graphics Card, RAM DDR5 and so on), but nothing changed, OBS Studio still loses frames meanwhile OBS Classic don't.
OBS Studio can be the best upgrade of the world, but if it loses so many frames it is unusable, at least to me.
Someone told me that the new release 20 is good one, I really hope that, because until now....
Oh one last thing:

- on OBS Classic was good the transparent color to hide (alpha), on OBS Studio works not good, I'm sorry, had a lot of difficulties to hide background color specially on gif images (like the green/blue colors on camera)

With all respect, as I said I've atready tried that on every aspect.
One day I make a stream and show you the difference

Do you use the nvidia GPU Encoder for streaming by any Chance?

If so I have the same exact Problem with the AMD GPU Encoder.

Could you test Version 19.0.2 OBS Studio?
Cause in that build, everything seems to be fine, but any further Version the kb/s get stuck to about ~1000kb/s while I have set 7000kb/s in OBS.

When I use the aforementioned Version, everything is normal and I get steady ~7000kb/s

Your steps aren't actually helping.
to be fair xsonic521x is being helpful he said try the other versions of obs to see if it works on them then try the zip download of obs which i tested works fine over the bugged installer, i was having issues like op and i tried all versions of past to current obs with installer and zip versions and so far zip download works great for me, you dont really need to delete post's if they dont agree with you

Then the first paragraph applies.
Ehm..., which exactly?
But the real questions are:

- on Windows 7 same problems, losing frames
- on Windows 10 same problem, losing frames
- on 3 different computers with different OS same problem, losing frames
- this is the most important parameter without which is impossible to stream correctly (and consequently the program become useless, even with the best settings and functions in the world)

My deductions, about this are:

- why OBS Classic is so stable meanwhile OBS Studio, that is an upgrade, don't?
- it should be me cause my computer or my hardware/software (modem, connection, operating system and so on), but as we can see, I'm not the only one, a bunch of people is affected about this problem in different countries with different connections and terminals

The final questions:

- do you think it is us or may be it is the program? Because we are thousands having the same issue, and the program is always the same one
- do you think it is correct to use dozens of additional settings just to have a stable stream with OBS Studio (e.g. TwitchTest), meanwhile with OBS Classic it is so simple to set up and it runs correctly without any other test progam or additional set up?

I repeat, I'm talking with all respect to the developers, but my questions and deductions are only a consequence for what I'm seeing about lot of people.
Best Regards

This guide contains every piece of dropped frames / disconnect / network related advice we can give. If you really truly honestly super duper actually 100% tried everything in this guide (including replacing hardware), and you still have issues then the problem is somewhere along the route between you and whichever server you are trying to stream to. In this case, there will not be anything you can do to resolve the issue as an end user, and it is recommended that you contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP). Also, please note that dropped frames are near impossible to be caused by OBS itself. This means if you just updated and you're seeing dropped frames, they are not related, even if you think they are.

Don't you love how we gave you some helpful advice, and yet all they seem to do is just offer copy and pasted non-caring info from a threaded post? Basically saying they don't care and don't want to help? Very unprofessional, even if the program is free and they deal with "lots" of these posts a day as they claim, even though I very rarely see them actually try to help people.

I don't know what they will do if anything, since they seem to clearly think it's not OBS, but don't understand the variables that come with coding a program and don't get that just because it works for them, doesn't mean it works for everyone, especially when the older build 18.0.2 works.

Until they get things together, just stick with an older build, and go around helping others who are having the same issue like us in the mean time. I'm sorry that they haven't been able to help you out with your issue and were very uncaring towards your issue, especially when it affects the majority of people.

Are you kidding me? You want ppl helping here to type out every single piece of advice everytime someone comes around with a problem about dropped frames? Delusional.

Anyway, in all this discussion, not a single log has been posted, so please do that:

https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/please-post-a-log-with-your-issue-heres-how.23074/

Also, you should try to enable the new networking code in settings ->advanced.

And if you've used Twitchtest, post a screenshot of it.
