Stereo panning of mono sources

Apple admits that its modern OS doesn't capture stereo inputs. It doesn't capture stereo either on HDMI or 3.5mm TRS or TRRS.

There is a way around it. Physically separate the 3.5mm TRS into RCA L/R then plug the left into a microphone port, then plug the right in a different microphone port.

However for this to work. The left mono sound must be panned to the left and the right mono sound must be panned to the right. Currently mono soundtracks in have no pan placement aka balance. I would like to add LR balance on mono inputs, because Apple is not allowing stereo sound inputs.

I already figured out the solution to my problem you just have to buy a stereo input capture card.

Macintoshes after a certain date only have mono audio capture built in so you have to buy special stereo equipment capture equipment to get it.

If you buy the correct equipment it'll work.
